Seeing as how the current trend is for posts about prostitution, drugs, child abduction, recruitment, racism, religion, the weather, what have you done today, how old you are, dead policewomen etc, I wanted to ask a question that has been bothering me for some time Are you a moist wiper, or old fashioned dry type of guy? And why? (I think that's what you say on posts like this?) When I was young it was a sheet of glossy Izal and I don't recall being any the worse for it Have we gone soft on botties? Is the tag nut a thing of the past? I'll get a poll going if this takes off
I thought Izal was only really for polishing! If my memories of school days are correct it was the most useless stuff ever! I think moist wipes are probably a good invention, but as we have a septic tank we can't use them as they don't break down like paper.
As a D16RR owner in waiting, I can only guess, but I suspect that you are a 15 sheets of Bronco industrial, a brief polish with a Waitrose own brand aloe vera flushable, then a short waft of warm air from your flunky with his Babyliss on 150 watts? Don't ask me how I know this:biggrin:
Hey Umbra, Have you bought a copy of El Toro's book, 1001 forum questions? Im sure that one will be in it somewhere.....
My parents must be some of the most brand loyal consumers in the world. Tea can only be Twinings, soap has to be Pears (after decades of Wrights Coal Tar tyranny). Similarly, for decades, bog paper was only Bronco. Then miraculously, some time after I left home, it mysteriously became Andrex. There must have been something about wartime austerity that they liked. Having a poop elsewhere (inevitably) opened my eyes to the fact that Bronco was only good for making kazoos with when teamed with a comb.
Sir, as always, you provide us with amusing insight and a useful historical reference. You got me thinking, so I consulted Messrs Google on matters cloacopapyrological and found this, an amusing read for a Friday The Ephemera Society - The discipline of cloacopapyrology! Enjoy Thanks to our other contributors too
Lol wonder what your next question will be??? Going back to paper I remember that paper they had it in school one side shiny one side not Not good for girls as the pee rolls off :-/
