I just hope Rossi can be on it from the off. Lorenzo says tyre wear is going to be a problem so that could be interesting.

I seem to be in a very small minority, because I just don't get the Rossi love in. He came out of the blocks on fire but he hasn't been the fastest this season (except in the wet), but he has been the most consistent. The fact that Lorenzo's head was a shed at the start of the year and his 1 x DNF and Marquez's 5 x DNF's costing them dearly. Marquez's strategy of win or bust shows that he still has youthful exuberance and is not yet the finished article. If he had just taken the points available when chasing the other 2 in the championship instead of over riding, he'd be right in this. Of course winning a championship is all about consistency, getting across the line and not ending up bouncing into the gravel on your head. So if Rossi wins it on this basis, he deserves it. (I think Keke Rosberg won the F1 championship one year with only one win, but he was the most consistent) I'm rooting for Lorenzo though, he may not be everyone's cup of tea, but when he's on it, the guy's fantastic. I was the same with Stoner, I loved watching the fella. C'MON JORGE !!!
Could you start your own thread about Jorge please, this is the Rossi/sepang thread I do agree with you that Jorge is fast but he wasn't the fastest at the start of the year and I would say that MM is the fastest now. For Rossi to be battling like this at his age is why I think he deserves the championship this year.
Given Iannone's performance on the straights at Philip Island, I'd say he stands a good chance of spoiling the party. Still rooting for the GOAT though. Come on Vale!

Ive been a rossi fan since the late 90s,hes been entertaining me since then!!!! when he turned up with the big hair and his wee skinny body and stuck it up all the big boys in his second season Then his jump from the ever dominant honda to the underdog yamaha then ducati and back to his m1 I have a few hero and legends in my era bayliss,edwards,dunlop,hizzy,rossi Rossi has a great personality Lorenzo not so same as stoner awsome riders just miserable tossers
