Which Panigale?

  1. Glad you said that. I had exactly the same worry which is mainly why I thought it was worth stretching to the expense when I lucked-upon one with a warranty :upyeah:

  2. Lucky man....keep hoping to see one with warranty but after a visit to the Ducati factory last week the Panigale is looking favourite now.

  3. I don't blame you. I think the few unregistered DD16RRs left don't need to be moved-on by their current owners ... so asking prices are very high.

IIRC this one is asking over 60K and it doesn't even have the GP7 exhaust on it

  4. Yeah saw that one at £65k.....lottery money I'm afraid!

  5. £65K?

    He's having a laugh

  6. +1. Same boat. stuck with my 1098r after riding a 1199s. Been looking at getting an rsv4 or another 1098r or something. Even considering a zx10r ffs. But then you may love it...

  7. Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC

  8. Unfortunately at 6ft 2in, I cant fit on an RSV4... Had a demo on a Panigale at the weekend and smitten so trying to sort out how I can get one now :)

  9. wait for the 2013 S version.... active suspension is coming up next .... probably from Ohlins this time...
expect the midrange to be tweaked as well...

Tri is just expensive colorscheme that you like or not ( i don't, il like 'm clean ans basic )
    anyone remember the TRI 1098?

and you don't seem the guy to be happy to have bought a 2012 S/TRI when they announce the R for 2014...
    i know i wouldn't be...

and 1098R's are going down in price....

  10. What put you off?

  11. Am also considering a Pani early hext year.

I will ride a little on road and track days.

Even though I like Ohlins and forged wheels etc I am considering the base model. Would I ride an S quicker on the track? I am a fast inters rider and not Troy Bayliss.

Just really asking the question is the extra money really worth it...

Also considering an RSV4 as I really liked the V4 in the Desmosedici.

    Decisions. Decisions.....

  12. Hi El Toro, as per earlier post. Worries about engine issues out of warranty. Still want one but trying to sell my other 2 bikes for a Panigale.

  13. Decision made, just put a deposit down on a new Tricolore

  17. Saw a Tricolore in Southwark last Tuesday night along Southwark street, heard it first then saw the bike, under the city lights against the backdrop of noise taking off from the lights I was smitten. Thinking a white S in 2013!!!!
