  1. 42, and still getting the odd game of rugby in (not sure how long the knees will let me carry on, though), although bleeding weather has meant only a few hundred miles put on the 998s this year - when will it stop raining, ffs.

  2. 40, wide awake at 5am with back pain... not getting any younger!

Was daydreaming at work the other day...

    "Darren!"

    "Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarren!!!"

    "Eh?"

"Thought we'd lost you then!" "Where were you?"

    "About 80mph"

  10. When you are a kid you can't wait to get older and grow up, then when you get older you wish you had your youth again. A couple of years ago I wasn't looking forward to reaching 60 and there was a point when I thought I might not. So next month I will be 60 , here's to the next 60.

  11. The hideous bit is the time acceleration.

I went into a supermarket two days ago, except that it was no longer a supermarket - it was a booze and fag store. It is a few hundred yards from where I lived for 10 years and ditto where the mother in law lived until a couple of months ago. "When did you change from a supermarket?" I asked. "Well", says the checkout lady, "I've been here 3 years, so it's at least that."

Could have sworn i bought tomatoes there within the past year.

    Bugger.

At this rate, I'll be dead in about 2 years time - at least it will seem like it.

  12. Having seen you on the TV you don't look nearly 60 :upyeah:
