I was walking along the Pier this morning and noticed an old man with his shoes off, trouser legs rolled up, legs dangling in the sea and fishing with an imaginary rod. "What are you doing?" I asked The old man replies, "Fishing for cunts." "Sounds good. Can I join you?" I said "Of course you can, pull up a pew son." I sat down and cast an imaginary rod out, and then I said, "So, how many cunts have you caught today?" The old man replies, "You're the third."
Cleaned spark plugs, screwed them back in, stopped when the torque wrench went click, didn't strip any threads.
Just been up for an hour in a Piper PA28 Warrior bimbling about over Peterborough. Visibility very average but could still see the Wash from 2300ft despite the haze. First flight in forever, all a bit apprehensive and more than a little nervous too. My Instructor was very kind and said nice things about my flying,(well he would of course as he wants me back up there as much as possible LOL) All good though, really enjoyed it,the landing phase was all very busy as there was a reasonable crosswind and I'm not used to landing on a hard runway. Now I can't stop grinning.....and I can't wait to get back up there....

Received my long awaited replacement mirror for the SFS, so might put the mirrors back on tonight and hope for a bit of sun and warmth Sunday for a coffee at Squires late morning before a beer filled afternoon for a mates Birthday
Ive done alot of work for this chap over the last six years, he is like an Indian del boy.. very entertaining and slippery as fvk.. if he wasnt so amusing i wouldnt work for him at all as he turns up with all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff that he insists i can use on his project...... or i can take in lieu of payment and use on one of mine. but no he aint faking this time the poor fucker. seen his wife, she had no money.. no im joking! she says he'll be ok just in over night..
Don't think so, I think they decided they should send it and chase the money themselves - after all the delivery was on the invoice took a while to sort but all is good
Had my car serviced and winter tyres put on. The garage haven't found the fault with the parking sensors though so it needs to go back in next week again.
Got the car serviced this morning, no dramas although I'm advised I need to replace the windscreen wipers which they were very sorry they didn't have in stock. £40 a pair I'm not sorry at all. Set to removing the tank on the 748 to get to the air box off so I can fit the new BMC air filters now I've got race air tubes. Not pretty but job done. Next up was to mark up the nice new DP race nose fairing for fixing holes. Not happy now, fairing don't fit my 916 Racing front fairing stay - arrrgghh. Waited ages to get a new old stock pukkah Ducati race fairing and it don't fit my set up - bugger. Consoling myself with beer and cold chipolatas. Andy
Somebody in my house is getting this for Christmas. Got a feeling it may have to be the wife's main present which could be interesting.
