  2. Wow, I think I rescued my car battery today*.
    The battery has been on a rescue conditioner for a couple of days now - it was registering 5.5V during the initial charging period. Checking my records, I last bought petrol for the car on 23 August and it still has half-a-tank left.

    I must, must, must remember to use the bloody thing from time to time.





    *I believe there is no chance the battery is still serviceable but we'll see, the next time it goes flat and I have to rescue it again :)

  11. Spent the day helping our daughter and fiancé move into their house after completing on it yesterday. needs decorating from top to bottom, think the non riding days over the winter are sorted.

  19. Sat in bed with the missus fiddling with my helmet...

    I'll rephrase.

    Internal sun visor isn't dark enough so I thought I'd add some 35% tint wrap. That turned into 30 minutes of fuck all. Internal visor is curved on an X and Y axis so it was a lot of wrinkles and a lot of swearing. Ordered an iridium one [emoji106]

    Uncles motto when it comes to DIY... Pay up and look good!
