Surely we are discussing the artificial sweetening of drinks and food? 99% of this is in the form of cheap palm oil syrup and not the more expensive sugar cane or beet. @finm Cheep is the noise a budgie may make. Since we don't have my palm production within the EU it would be incredbly easy, cost effective and involve no additional layers of red tape to just massively increase the import tariff for this item. Palm sugar is currently €0.4190 / kg if classified under Food & Drinks: Oils, Herbs & Spices (using HS commodity code 1701.99.9000). Let's make it €1.30 / kg instead. It would hit enriched fats and sugars that are used in our massively over processed diets, while leaving other sugary items untouched, such as Alcohol. Note Sting would also be happy as it would reduce our rain forest reduction rate.
Zero Vat rate for EU produced motorcycles (BMW and Triumph)? I think there is another one, but I can't think who that might be.
Note I've way too much time in my hands at the moment... Can you tell? And I'm missing my red wine....:Shifty:
I like the blonde (with Guitar.... That conversation nearly went the wrong way for the overly PC Beeb). :Hungry:
