Afternoon all I've owned my Red 2005 Multi 1000 SDS since 2006 and it's had gentle summer usage ever since, only covering 8.5k miles. It's the Ohlins model and fitted with a full Zard system, K&N, PC lll and custom map by PDQ. Number boards and an open clutch cover finishing the bike off nicely. Previous bikes include an RR1 Blade and 2006 Aprillia factory. I can honestly say this has to be one of the most underrated bikes of all time. Lamented for its looks when it broke cover back in 2003 it was largely ignored and failed to sell in numbers. But a great 'old school' air cooled punchy engine in a sweet handling package make this the sensible choice on today's roads. No electronics lets you have a real sense of being at one with what's going on. With the roads now being full of 'cross over' style bikes, I think Ducati got it spot on just a bit too early. I will try and get out more and look forward to meeting up at a future meet. Cheers
Hi there welcome to the forum. I used to be in Watford quite often when working for Volvo penta. I hated the one way system there, I was only used to the single carriage way roads of Wales :Nailbiting:
Only if you get into a time machine and go back 20 years It has changed names / themes a number of times, currently called Oceana.

Hello, good evening and welcome fairly local person. I'm in Berkhamsted. Show us some pics of your steed.
Hi and welcome. I'm down at Heathrow and will probably have another Multistrada when we meet (or may be a BMW).
Welcome. My neighbor has a 1000s and loves it to bits. I guess it is one of those designs that divides opinion. I agree that they are underrated-like the ST series, though they do look better in the flesh and are nice to ride. Hope you enjoy the forum.
