Interesting, they say they are considering pulling out, so Rossi does something and they stop support for MM? You would guess they were not particularly happy with him either then....
Either that or like any big corporate they're allowing themselves wriggle room to pull out of sponsorship whilst shifting blame on to something else
suggest this is more to do with title Spanish sponsor keeping the pot boiling on behalf of MM & Honda.
Interesting Repsol quote "sporting values" as a key in their article. You could and should apply that as a failure in both parties in the race and incident that resulted. Personally I don't see any innocent parties between VR and MM in the race from a sporting values point of view. I think management have something to answer in this too. Honda and Yamaha and even race direction must have seen where this had the potential to go in the race after the press conference.
Have to say though, the incident has done Moto GP a world of good I reckon. Its about time it kicked off. I imagine the viewing figures will be up next weekend. All the best racing came from riders with a grudge LOL.
I see Vr has announced he is racing in Valencia after he was called by the Italian Prime Minister requesting he fight on. Yamaha are also appealing the grid position. Apparantly their appeal post race was the points not the punishment itself.
"Reading all your messages has allowed me to overcome my bitterness and anger and today, we'll be starting work on Valencia! Thanks for all your support," Rossi wrote on Twitter.
