  1. Think these will get through MOT.

I know they are worn so will replace once I know engine is ok on bike but need MOT first.

Chain seems loose enough after 4 days oil/paraffin soaking.

  3. :Writing: that shed is coming in handy, wonder if he's got the heating sorted for winter

  4. my garage has 2x400w lamps which put out enough heat to melt bike parts i have discovered.

i'm not worried about cold, i can put an extra jumper on. Lighting is a big issue though,

  5. LED will sort your lighting

  6. Airsourced Heat pump...
Cooling in the Summer and cheap heating in the winter (at 1/4 or 1/3 the cost of your electric heater).
    If only I knew someone?

  7. I think i'll just put a jumper on.

  8. Need to get a sparky round, don't like playing with lectric.

  9. It's the sideways movement of the chain.
Hold it out longwise and see you much it bends downwards.
It shouldn't drop more than a few inches along the whole chain.

  11. Slightly late as I've just riveted it back on. But it's only to get me through an MOT and a quick shake down. Measured stretch and that was fine. I am expecting a little fling from the oil bath though.

  12. Once chain is riveted, do you splay the ends? I'm struggling to find the correct attachment for splaying.

  13. Yep splayed ends .
