Think these will get through MOT. I know they are worn so will replace once I know engine is ok on bike but need MOT first. Chain seems loose enough after 4 days oil/paraffin soaking.
my garage has 2x400w lamps which put out enough heat to melt bike parts i have discovered. i'm not worried about cold, i can put an extra jumper on. Lighting is a big issue though,
Airsourced Heat pump... Cooling in the Summer and cheap heating in the winter (at 1/4 or 1/3 the cost of your electric heater). If only I knew someone?
It's the sideways movement of the chain. Hold it out longwise and see you much it bends downwards. It shouldn't drop more than a few inches along the whole chain.
Slightly late as I've just riveted it back on. But it's only to get me through an MOT and a quick shake down. Measured stretch and that was fine. I am expecting a little fling from the oil bath though.
Once chain is riveted, do you splay the ends? I'm struggling to find the correct attachment for splaying.
