  13. Has anyone actually read the article? It's entirely self-contradictory and doesn't offer a shred of evidence that Casey will put down his fishing rods.

It starts by saying: 'the latest news coming from German website Speedweek.com is that Ducati are quietly confident about securing a deal to sign the two-time MotoGP World Champion to replace Andrea Dovizioso'. And ends by saying: 'they’ve spoken to Ducati Corse General Manager Gigi Dall’Igna who remained pensive when asked about Casey Stoner.
“Personally, I have a feeling that Casey doesn’t want to race motorcycles anymore. He likes the life he now leads,” said Dall’Igna ... I don’t think he wants to come back to MotoGP ... " Whilst nothing is impossible, Stoner returning to MotoGP with Ducati would arguably be an even bigger shock than when he initially announced his retirement from the sport in 2012.'

    So, no story whatsoever, apparently.

  15. no questions if he was winning,, and the way they are going just now he might be...:upyeah:

  16. Perhaps his 'ambition outweighs his talent' !

Or he'll come back after Rossi retires...

  17. Shit man, wondered who that was staring at me - freeking el :Hilarious:

  18. I would not be surprised if his retirement was due to the health issues he experienced in 2008/9. looking back now the things people posted about him regarding lactose intolerance are just appalling.

  19. BT have just confirmed casey will be back as a test rider next year.
