Hi all! Wish I was making my first post under better circumstances, but unfortunately I'm here looking for parts. Got knocked off my 848 about a month ago, finally recovered enough to start rebuilding it. I've got a few leads for some of these parts already, but figured I'd check on here to see if I can find cheaper or better condition parts....this rebuild is quickly becoming quite expensive. There's countless broken/scratched things on the bike, but I only need two parts before I can get her engine running: 1) Clutch Engine Cover (Part #24321181EB) 2) Gear Pedal Once I get these, I can diagnose for other problems (hopefully none), and start thinking about replacing everything else. Oh, if anyone has a spare kickstand sensor, I'm probably interested in that too. I've shorted a couple of wires on the plug to bypass it for now, but I think it'd be a good idea to reconnect the sensor if one is available. To be honest, both rear sets look bent so will have to replace those anyway, but at ~£300 for a nice set, I'm looking for a temporary gear lever as a replacement. Will need all new fairings too...thinking about Extreme Fairings from China - OEM would be way too expensive. Update: Got levers thanks to Pavey and bought a pretty beat up clutch case from eBay - going to try respray it and hopefully get it looking nice again. Got a kickstand sensor and gear lever as well now. Thanks to everyone involved so far - this looks like a great community.
I may have a grey clutch cover mate from either a 749 or a 1098 SF. I think they are all the same. I'll have to have a look. Have standard black levers from an 1198s too if they are of any use?
Unless I'm mistaken, the 749 and 1198 use the typical dry clutch, where as the 848 has a wet clutch, so the cover/housing is different. Thanks for the offer though! My levers are usable but snapped at the tips...so yeah, I was planning to replace those eventually. What kind of price would you be looking for them?

I sent my bits off to Kris on Friday and true to his word he sent me more than required for them. I would imagine he still needs all the other parts to replace the scuffed ones on the bike.
I have a sidestand sensor £10 plus postage. Not sure what else you need but I have a few 848 panels left and bits and bats
Already got the kickstand sensor on the way from Nelson, thanks for the offer though! In talks with another couple of members about a gear pedal and Chinese fairing set, if those pan out well, I should be pretty set! Once the clutch case arrives from eBay I should be able to get the bike fired up and test for any other damage...might well be in need of more parts then, but fingers crossed it's just the aesthetics after that!

Yeah, that's the impression I got! Well, originally I'd planned to order a Chinese set with a logo of my favourite hockey team. Still waiting to hear back if he has the full set of parts and pictures etc. Are yours standard OEM in red? I would need pretty much every panel...everything apart form the textured black under seat fairing got broken. What kind of price range would we be talking?
Mine are all matt black standard oem. I have everything inc tank except rear end which I sold on eBay this week. Tank £120 fairing complete £250
Ooo damn, I missed the rear end! So I'd need both the rear undertray and rear fairing, but I guess I'd find those on eBay, or on here even. I guess I'd take the tank as well as fairings, Googled some images and it looks much better with matching tank. Is everything in good condition? I'm still in talks about the Chinese fairings too, but I think it might be worth paying extra for oem.
Sold a complete rear end inc tail light and subframe £150 on eBay that was very cheap indeed. I still have the tank and fairings though the headlights have been closed in for track use. Can easily be opened out again. Also going very cheap. 07903607391 if you need any more details
