today i invented the word smaft... its an amolagalation of smart and daft.. it was by accident , as most strokes of genius are.. i was so excited i text my ex girl friend.. she said i should 1, stop txting her and B, stop making up words. I told her that this one will catch on an ill be famouse. she reminded me of my attempt at inventing cockney rhyme. I came up with finding a while back... which is short for finding nemo which rhymes with chemo which is short for chemotherapy! as in she is having finding on tuesday.. That too will catch on im sure of it... shes just a lil disengreable these days
today was pretty good, started work at 9, done buy 2 and cleared £180.00! wish every day was like that or better. should be really for a tradesman especially given 29 years in the game and the out lay on tools and general expenses. down side is it was hard graft. my shoulder has flared up again and is killing me. its been in varying degrees of pain for 20 years now they wont do the op until i go down the steroid route first and i wont get the steroid shots as its a temporary fix and runs the risk of permanent damage to the muscle fiber. so... anyhu... day off tomorrow to take her to finding so im about to tank up on Zapain and melbec so as to get a night sleep. so i should be on form soon
Had another bloody!!!!! :Rageuncture in the same rear tyre only my tyre pressure sensor didn't alert me without realising I drove daughter to school and back, I thought it felt funny Anyhow I had to call mobile tyre man out and I had a screw in tyre and the inside wall had ground away just on a shortish journey Bloody £93 later for a new tyre and fit etc Where am I getting these screws from as I mainly do same route everyday Oh and sssh I forgot to reset tyre pressure sensor on last puncture :Bag: That's Christmas savings gone now :Bawling:
I had the Steroid injection about 4 years ago also in my shoulder and it has helped but shoulder will still play up now and again, i think you can only have three injections in the same spot. As for tools Festool are fantastic my son use's them but will cost an arm and a shoulder :Smuggrin: as you know.
I had 2 they wouldn't do anymore as it wastes the muscle away It helped temporarily but doesn't fix the underlying problem
No I have checked each time I park and it's the off side tyres that keep getting punctures I keep out of gutter etc It's bloody annoying
they are telling me only to expect 10-12 weeks of pain relief from the shots and yes only 3 is recommended. as far as i can see its a waste of time giving the potential damage the shots them selves can cause (illustrated by the fact they will only allow the 3 max) and the fact i dont want temporary relief i want the op which is available and believed to be highly successful. it does my f@king head in. they will spend the money on the op but only if they waste more money first doing something i dont want and could do more harm than good.
Had a fun, foggy ride into work this morning. Very technical, it was. Paced myself at work (after rushing to get an audit completed). Audits are fun - I go around the entire office and get collared by people along the way, having the same conversation anywhere from ten to fifty times. Lovely ride home in sunshine this afternoon.
