@Robarano I assume you have raced a bit at club or other level, and you'll know that whether you are racing for first, last or somewhere in between, and whether you are on a MGP bike, a 600 or a CB500 shed you have choices like this to make all the time. And wther 130mph or 30mph the the choice to be made is the same.

Back off or tough it out. One can mean winning, one can mean a visit to the med centre. Actually, the same decision can mean both

that is the best write up yet and totally what i have been trying to say, but lack the english language skills!!! Yes im a rossi fan but also a big fan of MM, he has been great for the class. I just wish everyone would stop putting ones opinions down to being a "fan boy" or a "hater" for a lot of us it is possible to look at this affair for what it is. MM got duffed up rightly or wrongly but his dnf has not bearing on the outcome of this season, Rossi's penalty points do. the author of this read hit it on the heads when he said loz should instead of telling us he is a world champion get on with it and prove it!

If in normal race, I would have slowed because there was no room on the outside. If there was room I would speed up and lean back. No question. Have done, would do again. My view is be super aggressive, peolpe stay clear...mostly

But I've eaten a few more pies so when I push, normally you stay pushed lol

 

Reason I love marquez has always been he is super aggressive. He makes overtakes where others dont. Like Lowes in BSB used to, and Brookes. Does that make them dirty riders? At times, probably.

Persoanlly, the more I saw the replays and the more I thought about it, neither should be penalised. Its racing.
