  6. never above 100mph but i mind holding back between lochgilphead and oban but other. fair play :smileys:

  7. Love racing cars on the road. M3 is a challenge for the multi tbh in sheer 50+ acceleration, was no problem at all for my 1000 blade..smaller stuff like elise on twisty roads but a bike can more safely use all the road ;)

    But tbh, love racing anything...

  8. I see your mate bought the faster red Aventador instead of the slower white one :tonguewink:

  9. Those Skylines can go well .........

  10. I imagine that GTR has had serious ££££££ - $$$$$ spent on it!

  11. My Suzook would have im :Rage:

  12. Had a fun run with a Nissan Skyline a few years back on the A272. I'd not long got the 999S back on the road after a four-year hiatus of being unable to run a bike, so I was very rusty.

Took ages to put the guy down :D

  13. Those new GTR's get off the line VERY well!

I had a go with one on my 600rr, and it actually did me off the line up to like 40 or something IIRC.

  14. Me and my mate had a race with an old AM Vantage (1970's one) both on our early 70's Z1's - took him either side at about 110-120mph. It was around 1982 and we were on the Humber Bridge :D
He gave us a big thumbs up at the other side :)

  15. GTR has launch control and lots of other toys never mind grip you can on,y dream of on a bike, but once a bike is moving it does pretty well

  16. I have been told by someone that had bikes and GTR's, that a bike will not sit with a GTR. Depends on the pilots I suppose.

  17. Really?

Most litre bikes will hump a standard one to 100 and beyond.

They're quick to 60, I mean they're quick full stop, but they are quick to 60.

And completely un-involving to drive. Much easier to get off the line than a bike.

As said above, I did one on a 600, would have been different if I'd buggered the launch.

They use one as a pace car/safety car in bsb, and the thing is absolutely flat out when the stockers are barely moving.

  18. yep, was a litre bike and a 'tweaked' GTR.

  19. There's a video online of a standard S1000RR keeping up with a 1500bhp GTR running on race fuel mate..

It blows away an 800bhp GTR.

  20. only saying what I was told.
