Kind of agree. Never paid much less than that for mine but I wouldnt think twice about paying the same again. After looking at some rubbish out there in dealers around the 7k mark for preparing face lift model. I looked for 8 month to get bike. The mint 06 facelift bikes are starting to fetch bigger money. Be a pretty rough R to get for that money?
Rite bike had a 6000 mile one for £5000 last winter, Charlie's motorcycles bought it off them and sold it for £6000. They do come up at good prices, but not often and you have to be quick. I nearly bought it for £5000 but never.
Great its been restored but a long time ago, perhaps its the 3 owners? but at that price i wouldn't want stained carbs, painted over flaky paint on barrel and there the early ones or what looks like black tape wrapped around the handle bars in between the yoke mounts, don't get me wrong its nice bike, Ive put it in my watch list.
