Indeed. It is when really tricky cases come along that sports administrative bodies so often fumble the ball, score an own goal, and land in a bunker. They claim the right to discipline others when they can't discipline themselves.
How can you come out with a statment like that...if rossi is entiteld to appeal then lorenzo can too...this is rossis mess to start with...just admit HE ISNT FAST ENOUGH.
Lorenzo has what to appeal against? He wasnt wronged in any way. He wasnt part of the incident. Rossi finished behind him, not in front
Championship positions seem to disagree with your last statement , although I admit I want Rossi to win, I also believe that at his age now he is prob the 3rd / 4th quickest rider out there, however over this season he has been the best racer .
He has had a very lucky season...you cant argue with that...but y9u need luck to win championships sometimes...but outright pace he hasnt got.
If MM is leading and JL is second with Rossi third (when the grid penalty is withdrawn) MM is so going to let JL passed isn't he :Angelic:
Lorenzo isn't trying to appeal against anything. He is apparently trying to join in to Rossi's appeal (or rather the preliminary application for an interim order this week) as an interested party. Lorenzo is indeed the only interested party apart from Rossi, so it is not clear why he has been refused standing. Perhaps this will be explained later.
Unfortunately I don't think Jorge will need any help , I recon he will win and Rossi will struggle to better 4th, Valencia is never been a good circuit for him ,
perhaps because he was not involved in the incident itself? and his view on what happened and what should or shouldn't happen after the fact carries no more clout than yours or mine.. he wants a ruling that favour's him in the championship. given the fact rossi finished behind him, should this incident not of happened the result could only have been the same or worse for him,(unlikely) wtf has it to do with him?
Jorge has not done himself any favours, he has benefitted from all this bollocks and would have won more admiration had he kept silent ,
Lorenzo has an interest - a very large and obvious interest - in the outcome of the appeal and the application. It affects Lorenzo more than anybody else, except Rossi. That's what it has to do with him.
