Seems on motogp.com there is coverage of media debriefs with the top four starting with jl at 3.00 rossi 3.30 mm 4.00 and dp 4.30 if anyone has access and interest!
Quite surprising. If Rossi ultimately wins the appeal, what could the CAS do to restore the position retrospectively? Nothing.
This gives rise to the obvious question: what is irresponsible riding? What actions whilst racing are or are not "irresponsible"? Does the FIM have a general power to decide that any action it chooses is "irresponsible", or are there criteria to be applied? If Rossi's actions on the crucial corner at Sepang were irresponsible, then surely so are lots of actions by every rider in every race, not least Marquez's. The regulation referred to would appear to be vague and woolly, hence open to debate.
It's not over till the skinny runts scream and you were nervous for a while things may change yet :Angelic:
Didn't expect that. Good result, standing by FIM and not bowing to vr posse. VR still has good chance of title I think. If he puts this behind him, and concetrate on race pace the jl3rd+vr6th result is doable. I'm rooting for Jorge but if VR does it from the back of grid it will be even sweeter for him and he'll regain some respect that a lot of his fans have lost.
A very helpful if rather speculative description of the states of mind and intentions of the participants in the incident, so thanks @gliddofglood . Because of the way Marquez was riding, Rossi may have come to believe that one or other or both of them were certain to go down soon. Rossi may have thought that it would be better and safer for this to be at low speed on a slow corner with lots of run off, rather than dangerously at 150 mph or more. So he actually managed to bring this about by finding a way to bring matters to a head at very low speed. That does not look like "irresponsible riding" to me - quite the reverse.
I think Iannone should be charged with riding irresponsibly for headbutting that seagull at Phillip Island, as it could have very easily landed on the racing line
loz speaking now.. apologizing for his gesture on the podium apart from that he has nothing to say.. as to his comments in sapang that was there this is now... he is looking foward to his future with yamaha. vale starting from the back doesnt change his race strategy at all. relationship with rossi next year will be the same ..
No problem, I'll happily wait until the grid lines up on Sunday afternoon if you prefer. What do you think Rossi's next course of action will be then, if you think it's not over? Can he appeal this? And if you post multiple times about winning the bet before you have, you have to expect me to find that funny. If I find any more, I may have a chuckle at those too. I was never nervous as It's only £10 It's for charity The circumstances changed since I made the bet as the appeal was lodged afterwards. But I was prepared to take this on the chin and pay up if the decision was changed. If it changes again before the race, I'll happily pay up.
FFS, it's the crap smileys you are using :Arghh: don't be so lazy the truth may still out by race day :Angelic:
exactly... unless he's saying something of mucho importantos in Hispaniola he was quite right about having nothing to say..
