I'm not that far from Hemel, albeit in a Northern-ly direction am I invited? haha. I need to get breakdown cover before I venture out next year. I have not had a close look at this bike and I'm not too familiar with Ducati's , learning curve ahead
Of course - whereabouts are you? Breakdown cover a good idea for any bike I figure, Ducatis are not particularly any worse. Maybe a bit water-soluble...!
Fist couple of months of biking and I had no breakdown. Naturally I broke down. Could have cried as nobody could help and I was in the middle of nowhere. Never again.
I agree, Brands Indy, it's got cool gradient, and is nice and short and still has long fast corners so you can work on your body position. Rockingham can be really slippery in the wet, Silverstone would be the next best but I think it's too wide and can feel a little 'boring' dare I say..... I have done 5-6 trackdays across the years, and now I would prefer Oulton over any other track, but it's tight, bumpy and not the easiest to learn compared to some like Brands.
That'll teach you to steer clear of those BMWs. Ducatis don't break down but they have been known to run out of petrol. :Bag:
Aha - know it well. I lived in Wolverton, MK for about 5 years, and worked at VW in Tongwell a few years back.
I don't live in MK but not far from the M1 I don't actually know MK that well even though I do visit fairly frequently. Looking for to next year already
