1299 Looking To Buy A 1299

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Nige, Nov 8, 2015.

  1. Guys I am looking to buy a 1299s in the next couple of weeks. I see MR in Winchester are including a set of Akropovik with the S now. Thats a great gesture, but I guess that is to get bikes moving at this time of year, are all dealers doing this, are there any other 'value adds' up for grabs out there, are dealers throwing anything else in, any experience of recent purchases greatly appreciated. Thanks

  2. Riders of Bristol are having a demo sale. I was up there yesterday having a nose round. They're got their 1299S demo up for £17500 or there abouts as I remember. No Akros on it though.

  3. That offer is only with the standard bike and not the S version.

  4. The Akro's are only on the standard model, however if your certain MR are doing it on the S I'd sign up now.

  5. Are you a cash or finance buyer with or without trade in ? You are likely to get a better deal taking the dealer's finance without trade in at this time of year. There Could well be one last push before the market really slows to tempt you to buy. In any case, you don't get if you don't ask and you never know your luck. Andy

  6. Yep akrapovic is free at all dealers but only on the base model.

I just bought mine from Moto Rapido. Great service.

  7. Quite often these special offers are only if you take out the manufacturers finance. No idea if this is the case here.

  8. Thanks guys. I am looking to buy cash. So not the best way round for the dealer, and a little less of a bargaining tool for me I guess.

  9. They'll still give you the akras.

Cash is still a good situation for them. Much quicker sale and MR have brand new pani's in stock so you can be on the road in a few days.

I think you'd probably be able to blag a free Ducati battery charger for the bike at least. :-D

  10. After a bit of digging around I've found a dealer advertising the free Akra's with the S.

    1299 Panigale S Offers

Still £20.750 over £17.000, not sure I'd ever exploit the Ohlins though would like the headlights and wheels.

    Hmm...

  11. Great spot. I think a number of dealers are joining in on this to get some S's out the winter doors

  12. Hmm hmm hmm...

  13. Buy the s Ohlins not only look good but make far more sellable come that time ,

  14. Get it on pcp and hand it back in 3 years when the 1399 is out.

  15. Don't ya mean, when the V4 comes out in 2017 ?

But that is just a rumour don't ya know ;)

  16. Haha. Well I'll be nearly ready to trade in by then so I'll put one in my garage. :)

  17. Have been looking at Prices, and they seem to differ a little, what is the on the road price ???

  18. Includes first registration fee, number plates, at least 6 moths road fund and some petrol. If older than 3 years, should include 12 months MoT. Andy

  19. The official price is 20,795, so i guess the above is the additional that makes it 21,050 from Moto Rapido

  20. The Ducati uk site gives the 2016 prices but most bikes dealers have in stock now they sell at the 2015 price.
    1299 base is £17031 roughly 2016
    Its £16545 2015 roughly
