To do: 957.9cc conversion - 98mm barrels and pistal 996sps HC pistons 999s throttle bodies 5 bar fuel system Maybe a nemesis ecu Maybe a CJS reflash maybe stick with the PCIII Mag swing arm re-model the corse linkage i have (damaged) Ally/carbon tank 431 or G cams (or stick with R cams) Reflow head Corse generator carbon oil catch tank powder coat spare frame and use (black) CRC aviofibre 998 race fairing re valve and spring ohlins rear shock 848 brembo clutch master cylinder AIM digital dash lighten rear caliper mount lighten rear disc balance and knife edge crank assembly (need to do again - new pistons) 50mm headers Carbon cam covers Deep V big volume one off carbon airbox Big volume corse spec airtubes plus put all the existing not wanted bits on fleabay.........R heads, sp cams, spe heads, maxton 40mm caliper forks, 40mm calipers, sp frame with V5. Target is mid 130's rwbhp, high 80's torque.
And as a forum member has just reminded me - the 853R kit will be for sale too. Barrels, R spec 853 cams and R heads.
853R Project...i got one too Your next project sounds really interesting....my 853R sees 127bhp and 76ft lbs on out dyno......just finished converting a 996 SPS into a 1000 748R and this has 146bhp and 83 ft lbs....off to Spain on both bikes this November for 4 days at Almeria...god we are going to be road kill when we get back:redface:
nice figures Turbo. Be interested to know who did the work on your motor. Cartagena in three weeks for me. Amd just go myself a lovely RS three piece airbox from italy..... It;s going to be a busy winter.
Looking forward to trying the R as is, and you can compare to my Evo which will have Akros and a chip tune but otherwise standard What you going to race it in next year tho?
