  1. Hi all, just bought my first Ducati that I pick up in a few week. It's my first twin so hoping I get along with it. Just come from a xjr 1300 sp which was a cracking bike but I've always preferred sports bikes and I'm too young for a xjr lol. Actually I went into the shop to buy some oil for the xjr and bought a yellow 999 instead. Andy

  5. Yeahhhh except it's yella :)
Enjoy and welcome to the mad house

  6. I'd be up for that, I'm always looking for a excuse to get out. You probley know off Earnshaws then in Huddersfield?
Only concern I have it's done 16,024 miles but got fsh, is that high?

  7. Trouble with yella is flies and bugs cover it when there stood still. I had a yellow Daytona 600 and that was the same

  8. Did you get it from Earnshaws?

16,024 miles is high if the bike is a month old.

  9. Yes I got it from Earnshaws, have you had any dealings with them?

  10. Yeah I bought a ZX10R from them a few years ago, but in recent times they just not been competitive when I've looked to p/x my bikes. In fact I went to them over a new ZX10R before I decided on my 848 Evo Corse, but they couldn't give me the deal I wanted.

I've also bought helmets and gloves etc from them in the past.

They are pretty good but I just think they've lost their way in the past few years and have been too greedy and this has impacted on the business they've done.

  11. I can remember wearing a yella tshirt to mallory a thousand bikes and the bloody flies wouldn't leave me alone
    :-/

  12. Sounds in the right ball park to me but I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be along shortly to confirm or deny this.

  13. Good price with some nice extra's, look to get the original pillion seat and footrests in the deal as good for resale and handy,(half hour swap with that DP seat cowl). 17000m not a problem with fsh. Well done mate. V nice bike.

  14. Hello and welcome!

  15. I got standard seat cowl with seat, standard full exhaust, pillion pegs, spare riders seat, standard air filters and reg plate as the one fitted is abit small with a Ducati background.

Thanks for the warm welcome :)
