I think MM has dropped a bit of a financial hillock with his apparent sabotaging of Rossi's title bid this year, as he seemed to be a dead cert to inherit a big chunk of Rossi's fan base, but I doubt many people will now swap a 46 shirt for one with a 93 on it. I doubt MM had such commercial concerns in his mind at the time, but in the long run it'll probably cost him millions in merchandise sales and promo deals. When Rosie retires I'll probably shout for Crazy Joe, as well as rooting for Cal and Brad. Lorenzo is impressive but a bit soulless, Dani is a great rider but not much of a fairing to fairing battler (apart from that one duel with Rossi this year - where did that come from?) and Marquez has disappointed me and lost my respect with his shenanigans this year. Before the Rossi-haters howl me down, in the interests of balance, I should say that although I am a long time Rossi fan, I feel he has also let himself down with his comments and conduct since Phillip Island, which haven't been becoming of the great champion and gracious sportsman we thought he was. *Edit: just noticed there are two predictive text hijacks in there ("hillock" and "Rosie") which deserve to remain uncorrected
