Whining Rossi Goes To Court Of Arbitration For Sport (cas) And Appeals..........

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Disco Davies, Oct 30, 2015.

  1. Seems on motogp.com there is coverage of media debriefs with the top for starting with jl at 3.00 rossi 3.30 mm 4.00 and dp 4.30
if anyone has access and interest!

  2. You do realise the appeal to the CAS in Lausanne is still outstanding and will fall to be decided in due course?

  3. Bike sort in court - sickening :anguished:

  4. total waste of time watching a complete farce of a race and a very hollow victory for Lorenzo

have more important things to do than waste time watching the spanish inquisition slug it out

  5. FFS, do people really think Rossi would throw his 10th title away by knocking Marquez off?
He knew what the outcome of that would be, and its so not Rossi.
Just think about that for a few minutes. What would anyone do in that position?
So many are talking bollox just because Rossi has more fans than anyone else.
Why does he have more fans? cause hes the best, in every way. He lives to race, and race to win.
Throw away the championship, by knocking off the small one? Wake up

  6. Yep he did exactly that , throw it all away and even said he shouldn't have done what he did. :Bawling::Bawling::Bawling:

  7. He did though, didn't he?

He clearly waited for MM. Kind of funny that he was accusing MM of the same thing.

He was the best when he had special tyres flown in over night. Exactly how many times has he been champion since the control tyre rule came into place?

  8. Whatever the outcome .the season was brilliant. All the main players rode like gods. The customer bikes are not that far behind. All the sponsors must be loving all the extra coverage theyre getting. Interest in motogp must have doubled...its win win for all especially the viewer.

  9. And the answer is, just the once since 2009, in 2009

  10. have to disagree it ended up with a lose lose situation

many seeing the stitch up for the final race refused to watch it, this is not in the interests of motogp or its sponsers

  11. I didnt see a stitch up.

  12. Have to disagree. Many found the stitch up for the final race fascinating and unmissable, this was clearly in the interests of MotoGP.

  13. If 2016 degenerates into a circus with similar antics you may well find that for every person who enjoys these antics there will be many more who don't and attendances at race meetings will drop

Rossi has a huge fan base who may well choose to vote with their ££££ when it comes to propping up motoGP if they feel he has had a raw deal

    Time will tell

  14. Well Rossi did cause the circus and it is only the Rossi cult that would not support races in the future as they have been hard done by.

  15. god is this still going?

  16. Team orders ruined F1

    Watch this space

  17. However odious this whole situations become and whether you like it or not Rossi’s fan base is like no other (probably in the whole of world sport) and subsequently once he goes, a lot of MotoGP fans will leave with him.

You only have to look at the comments under every single post from the moto gp site on twitter or Instagram since Valencia and read the responses.

“Jorges a *insert favourite curse word*” seems to be the general concensus, shortly followed by similar treatment of #93. There's thousands of them.

It’s a shame because Marquez had a real chance to take over Rossi’s mantle/fanbase at one point, but he’s blown that (some might say through no fault of his own etc..).

When Rossi retires there’s going to be one hell of a hole left to fill - maybe once the dust settles things will change but it looks pretty unlikely from where I’m sat at this moment in time (and lets face it when he retires he'll still be lurking around the pits with one commitment or another).

  18. You might not miss the people but you cant deny a packed grandstand adds to the experience, atmosphere and enjoyment,. You only have to look at WSB for that.
