  1. Iconic legend, RIP G.D.

  2. Never saw him race, but the results tell the storey.
    RIP Geof Duke

  3. A life well lived. Definitely a legend. RIP Geoff.
The John McGuiness of his day? Mr smoooth.
I hope we get to see lots of vintage footage of the great man in action on TV.

  4. I fully expect a whole load of people to say "never heard of him" - but to those of us who have stood in a muddy field in Cropredy, listening to real music and drinking 6X over the last few decades, this is sad news...
    RIP Bruce

  5. We used to say
    That come the day
    We'd all be making songs
    Or finding better words
    These ideas never lasted long

    The way is up
    Along the road
    The air is growing thin
    Too many friends who tried
Blown off this mountain with the wind

    Meet on the ledge
We're gonna meet on the ledge
When my time is up I'm gonna see all my friends
    Meet on the ledge
We're gonna meet on the ledge
If you really mean it, it all comes round again

    Yet now I see
    I'm all alone
But that's the only way to be
    You'll have your chance again
Then you can do the work for me

    Meet on the ledge
We're gonna meet on the ledge
When my time is up I'm gonna see all my friends
    Meet on the ledge
We're gonna meet on the ledge
If you really mean it, it all comes round again

    Meet on the ledge
We're gonna meet on the ledge
When my time is up I'm gonna see all my friends
    Meet on the ledge
We're gonna meet on the ledge
If you really mean it, it all comes round again

(Repeat chorus several times whilst waving glasses of 6X around...)

  9. Acclaimed young dancer killed in London whilst riding his motorcycle. Young talent snuffed out at the start of a very promising career. Condolences and thoughts to his family. Andy

  10. She brought happiness to so many lives.

I didn't know her personally but I thought some of you lot might ;)

  15. I worked in Streatham many years ago and knew her by sight after someone pointed her out to me just after there had been all the fuss in the papers etc. and also she lived not far from where I worked and I regularly passed by her house when I was coming in and out of the area.

Never saw anyone coming and going though even before the whole thing kicked off.
