  1. this could be the time where bikes have finnaly reached there pinnacle, that's why to end the season I went back to a gsxr1000, old fashioned superbike , no electronics to help you out, like it used to be and tbh having more fun than ever, and ive had the pannis, s1000rr, etc,

  2. The cost is just getting ridiculous. £15k for a summer shag. Then shit yourself. Ducati are sports bike's, not scramblers, not endurance bikes for a sand pit. Let KTM deal with that market.
Want a great bike bike, get an R1. Want to open the garage door and smile, get a Ducati. Unfortunately my wallet isn't attached to a money tree.

  3. Reminds of the 2003 CBR600f I got after getting my licence haha!

  4. Wtf do I know, the 848Evo, fantastic raw machine.

  5. MV F3 800 - Whoever designed that exhaust should have been consulted... Wonder if the aftermarket pipes might head in a similar direction for the 95myeyesarebleeding9?

  6. 95eyesarebleeding9 vs latest VFR800 ... Oh dear.... It can't really be better looking can it?

  8. But that's going to have to change also, the new brutale 800 announced last week still has nice exhausts but much much bigger, check it out.

I agree with the comments of the last pure sports bikes, I thought the 848 Evo was tbh, it was probably the most technically proficient, but the electronics of the 899 ultimately do make it easier to live with so its a toss up

  9. I'm buying shares in Akra and Termi

  10. the only saviour ducati has is it may make 1299 sales go up from potential 959 sales unless they do the same to that bike , which could be possible,

  11. Read a couple of reports saying the pipe maybe to improve the amount of torque as much as anything. I believe its journo test time in Valencia next week for the 959 and we may find out more then.

My guess is the 2020 Euro 5 regs may see the end of aftermarket pipes.

  12. Yeah I'm with you,

I used to like my 899, but now I like it even more:grinning:

But when I come to swap it does that mean that I'll have to get a 1299?

  13. I wonder if they will bring out a 1299FE just before it gets replaced with something with a God awful can? Final Edition of Ducati's which look like they should.

  14. Do you think this would happen? imagine the damage to the industry ..

  15. I've ridden both the 1199 and 899 and they're great bikes in lots of ways, but IMHO if you actually want to RIDE a Ducati to keep all the synaps' firing, the evolution of the Superbike peaked as below AND the exhausts are sex on a stick !

  16. Its already happened pretty much in Germany-France etc. unless its an homologated aftermarket pipe its a no-no and they confiscate your bike if your unlucky

  17. New GSXR1000 @jimmy 43 will be happy!

Does the 959 have the tyre learn function of the 1299 does anybody know?

  19. Head light looks like an MV rip off IMO

  20. These new pipes just make the bike look like the average jap bike with stuff bolted together with no thought about the overall lines :(
