yeh read it correctly I had one at the start of the year I had it previously for 18 months there for I bought it 1 and a half years earlier DOH
I started an Eicma picture thread and got some snaps of the exhaust chaps. Doesn't look much better in the flesh to be honest and neither does the twin Akra, don't like the gauze / mesh they use at all However the saving grace could be a fairly straight forward slip on as the clamp/exit link from the cat easily leaves room for a nice simple (cheap) end can and hanger off the peg.
not neccesarily, i think maybe a nice small GP type can from SC-Project, similar to that of the RSV4 can would work quite nicely. I guess its horses for courses and since people saw the under belly on the 899 they've all of a sudden switched that way. Most of which have failed to realise that the RC8 and even some Buells were running exactly the same set up years before. Underbelly exhausts are good for neatness but they're not as good for keeping looking nice
Whenever new standards are introduced, the usual arrangement is for newly introduced models of car, bike, etc to have to meet them first, and then existing models only have to meet them after a year or two's grace. Euro 4 for new models of bikes is Jan 2016, for existing models 2017. Euro 4 is quite a big step which is a challenge for designers to meet. Euro 5 and Euro 6 are much smaller steps, which should not be too much of a problem. Plus they have already been postponed several times.
959:disappointed: sorry but doesn't look good much prefer the 899 and the new gixer looks nice along with the kwak 10 , but the end of the day in 1st gear they are far to powerful for the road , take them on track and enjoy, and keep your licence
