Agreed, race is a lot better. I run mine in sport for usual Sunday rides, when I hit a nice bit of road it goes in race. Race mode is where the wheelies are at! Much more responsive!
I just need to figure out how to set the 'high' throttle mode in sport mode because I am happy with the increased traction control etc it offers over the default race mode. Definitely fair to say no one should judge the power without having a proper go in race mode
Mines set full power in all modes but with traction and abs set in varying degrees. As my tyre starts to go off on a trackday I switch down through the maps as needs be.
I don't even know how to change the sub mode settings. I.E. individual preferences away from the standard three.
in the old days all bikes had only one mode. Two modes I can see as a benefit, full hit or wet. Anything else is just bollocks.
i never change the modes, wet with full traction and abs all the others are just a gimmick, its about corner speed not power and its great fun racing the ped gang,i even overtake a few.
