What Mountain Bike For £250 (ish)

  1. you lot know more about push bikes than me.. clearly! do me a favor and do some shopping! post links up! would be much apreciated.. as said budget on the small side of 350 there is a good few pints in it for the winner!
     
  2. Ive bought 2 bikes off Paul's cycles so that cube would be my choice. Maybe wait to see if they get reduced more tomorrow too.

  4. See they only have 14inch frame in stock,so will be to small,sorry.You may find discounted bikes may only be available in some sizes.

You may be limited to frame size and stock levels,as said any good branded bike with a decent discount would do,you have a budget so try to stick to it,we all know you need to spend a few grand on a all singing and dancing bike but sticking with a good brand will give him street cred,lets be honest 98% of us dont know a 5k bike to a £500 one,i like my push bikes and have a cannondale but i could not bring myself to spend more than £600,but i have no problem spending a couple of k on some Akras,horses for courses and all that.

  7. sound advice mate. a large part if im being honest is not buying him crap... i personally buy stuff for its label in the hope that it is quality.. it dont always work out.. but i know the boy needs his cred so i want to get him a bike that his mates wont laugh at...it souldnt be a factor but it is
