Im waiting to go out to a disco reunion" Sweenys Basildon" that started last year they have 3 a year its from a club that closed in 1986, so lots of old face's about, Why do bloody women take soooooo long to get ready should have meet up in the pub at 7pm but seating here waiting, i was washed and changed in 25 mins and now having a bud to drink,
Yeah, was shell. She said company policy. I always use Shell if I can but never been asked before. Was rather irritating.
I took a girl back to my house for some hanky panky last night. After going upstairs, I slowly removed my clothes and climbed under the quilt. "You'll have to be really quiet," I whispered, "My mum & dad are asleep." "I can see that," she said, "Have you not got your own bed?"
I was getting petrol in a car 2 days ago in BP station (in reality marks n spencer) and they wouldn't turn pump on and then a girls voice boomed out over PA system " close your car door or no fuel!".When I went in to pay I asked why and the girl said " it's not safe sir - your daughter is in the car!".I said it's only got 2 seats so I don't know where she could be hiding - maybe the glovebox? She came back at me "she's in the front seat Sir!!!" I said No - that's the current girlfriend and no I ain't won the lottery!"
Third Christmas party of the weekend tonight - local chamber of commerce so back home nice and early :crying:
Played at being a marshal for the first time at the 30th running of the annual Reading Toy Run. Goldwing club withdrew at the last minute so volunteered as Carole was already signed up. Great fun, over 2000 bikes of all kinds. Saw several 1199/899s,1098/1198s, Monsters, ST4s and a lovely 848 SE Evo. Oh yes and one Diavel and one Multistrada of course. One moment of panic as a bloke was driving his pregnant wife to hospital as she had started labour needed to get through the road closure :Woot:. Despite the pretty awful weather it was a fantastic turn out and the Barnardo's childrens home and school in Wokingham got lots of lovely presents for the kids. Andy
A bit of pack mule duty on a toy run to drop gifts off at Hallam FM for their mission Christmas. My own gift was in the top box with other peoples in both panniers, a great day despite the weather. A bit of 'Where's Wally?'... I'm in there somewhere
Yesterday morning some friends came to stay for the weekend. Had a great time out and about yesterday afternoon despite the rubbish weather. They left around 4pm today and I've been wrapping Xmas presents ever since. Still got a few to do mind.
Like many, did the NEC show today. Got some custom earplugs with built in audio, and scored an Oberon clutch reservoir cap to match the brake one (last one they had) and rear reservoir caps for both the Ducati and Benelli [emoji846]
Christmas lights, spent a long time on Christmas lights. They were working when I took them down! Ended up just binning 1/2 in a Bailey's induced rage.
Out mine up today and they are flashing on and off merrily! Odd thing is I've had them a 10 stretch and they've never done that before? Think I might turn them off before I go to my pit?
It was foggy and naff on Saturday. I cut all the "beans" off the wisteria and tidied it up. That's a barrowload of beans - too bad you can't eat them (at least, I don't think you can). It was bright and quite pleasant yesterday, so put up the ludicrous Crimbo lights on the house. Heh-heh. This involves a very big ladder. It's foggy and naff again today. Quite lucky with the weather yesterday, all things considered.
Got talking to Jenny the motorcycle artist at Rykas. She charges £120 a pop if anyone wants a sitting [emoji4] Jenny Linn-Cole
At a meeting today... Professional "it absolutely can't be done" Me "let me try.....*click* Professional "oh"
