Jumped on the bike as usual, rode to the end of the drive, crap, ice. Tiddled onto the road, traction light flashing, not much grip. Stupid riding on ice.
Went for a longer ride, non stop Doncaster to Whitby then a tour of coffee stops on the way home (Seaways and Squires) It was dark by the time I got to Squires, loads of cars there and just one bike, mine... I do like the LED dipped beam but the halogen highs don't bring much to the party, I have a plan for that.
Well today I went to Warrington for a meeting and took SWMBO for the ride and she could shop whilst I was in my meeting. After my meeting i met her and we went to Marple to see our 3yo grandson in his school nativity play. He was one of the villagers (I stress not one of the village people!!) and he got his lines cock, and indeed, on. We were very proud of him as you can imagine. And after we went for something to eat before heading home at 8pm It's been a good day.
EArlier this week had to supply a shed load of information for a review today. We were given templates to complete with the information. I think I queried everything they (finance department) asked for. I kept saying 'they won't be interested in that' but no, was told to complete it, they knew what was required. So today, my project is first up, they (seniors, not finance department) look at the data presented and said 'we don't need to know this, who decided this was what we needed?' . I enjoyed watching the twit squirm. Downside is I have to produce what they did want now. However, I have all that at my finger tips, because I know it is what Everyone asks for. Now slump cruising the net and on this site.
Enjoying watching an Alfa Spyder being driven at speed, albeit briefly, through the streets of Rome in Spy. And it's a good film too. Spy (2015) - IMDb
In hindsight just a little nicer than this one but at the time I couldn't make my mind up. I told you I shouldn't be let out on my own ! Andy PS - the picture doesn't do any justice to the watch face which is a gorgeous royal blue.
