  1. hi guys n gals,
im thinking about getting a quickshifter for my 2011 1098 streetfighter, could any1 point me in the right direction as to what I need as im new to ducati's, ive read a few posts saying that theres a menu on the dash saying DQS? will I need just a plug and play QS like HM or will I need a PC?
any info will be appreciated thanks

  2. You wont go far wrong with a HM shifter, they are stand alone and pretty easy to set up.

  3. Yeh I had the HM superlight quickshifter on my 08 blade but me being new to ducatis I wasn't to sure, and having the DQS menu on the dash threw me a little, I know it means ducati quick shifter but does it have any purpose?
    Thanks for the quick reply

  4. Maybe a DQS module will just plug in. I dont know however im sure someone with more knowlage than me will jump in and help.

848 Evo and 1198SP had QS fitted as standard, I know know much about the SF

  6. Can you see a redundant little white plug on the loom that isn't being used?

  7. Will the white plug be close to the gear shift rod or under the tank nearby the coils?

  8. Should tell you on your dash if its plug and play ??

  9. Cheers buddy I'll check it out
