Wait... Your not going to ride it in winter are you? U Maverick.... You absolute joker! Paid hard earned money for it and your going to use it... OMG.... ;-)
Because muck, dirt and salt will get into every possible little place and however meticulous your cleaning regime its impossible to completely stop the damage they do. Its visible especially around the brake calipers, disc rotors, bottoms of the fork legs and the wheels.
This is all true but something that I accept as par for the course with bikes. I'm not precious about them but I'll be sensible as I can with keeping it nice. For the awful awful weather I'll be using the gsx600f once I can get cracking with the fork seals. Can't stop looking at the 1299 though!
Tell you what though lads/ladies/chaps/reprobates those akros are out of this world sounding. They have a low, resonant tone to them. Not unlike standing in a tunnel going ohhhhhhhhh. Will get her in the studio tomorrow and get some high quality audio.
Everyone likes a sexy box... I like the sound of the akro's, definitely the richest tone also but I like the look of the Termi's. Glad u got it home all sorted! I assume u are commuting on it for the rest of the week to get miles on it? Do u have your first service booked yet?
Ha Jimmy , damage off a bird ( the feathered variety ) , as you no it spends most of its time up front , lol
