What have you got planned? I'm adding 848 forks, calipers and a brembo 19x20 M/C. Will also be getting my wheels powder coated. Not sure of the colour yet, prob' black or a dark anthracite... May even pop my belt cherry...
Clutch rebuild, lever change and may get some red Samco silicon hoses fitted. That should use up any funds I have left before Spring
Mono subframe (in final stages of painting), 749R shock & linkage etc. Carbon belt cover, slipper clutch and carbon fairing, esp if I can find a later 999R carbon nose.
Well I will be saving the pennies ready for my 2013 purchase and add to the collection and replace my destroyed Multi... the choices
Replacing broken subframe, vinyl wrap nose to look like white number board, belt service, deep cleaning, and very tempted to get termi pipe work polished
Replace the bits that are broken or in need of attention - i.e. oil temperature sensor, left hand mirror, respray battery cover panel, replace notchy head bearings, and perhaps install the new loom I've bought to deal with the various electrical issues. Hopefully I don't have to rewire or indeed replace the only a few months old fuel level sensor. Then once I've got all that done, I'm going to sell it.
Hmmm, as follows... Looking out for a Radial M/S to beef up the braking, Strip and rebuild supension on my bench, Looking for a set of 916 barrels and pistons, might as well, I have to drop the engine as I want to powder coat the frame too! TBH, I could leave well alone, but tinkering makes me happy*! *Although riding makes me happier!
Just picked up a replacement engine for the 748, nothing wrong with the present one but I couldn't resist this one, built by JHP its a 853 big bore withh gas flowed heads, alloy flywheel and STM slipper clutch. Just need a good chip for it and that should keep me occupied for a while. Steve
Just going to strip and rebuild the OEM Ohlins on the 749R, and send the rear shock away for a service!
Maybe, but the original lines are still well up to the job at the moment Wouldnt hurt to have a few more little flashes of red thou
