  1. Think yourself lucky it doesn't come from Bologna with a Corse sticker on it, the price would have another 0 on it.

  2. Quite right!

  3. Haha impressive entrepreneurship from the maker! Piece of metal and a couple screws :) I've found one of the best mounts is to use the suction cup on the tank. it's a bit fiddly to get good suction but it works well and you can tie it off anyhow.

The standard sticky tabs can be removed with heat just as quick as a couple of screws anyhow.

  4. I did this for a ride with mates on the road but was worried it would end up getting in the way of my arms whilst hanging off in a corner. Did it seem alright then I take it?

  5. £30 is fair. The guys gotta make a living.

He obviously has the skills and facilities to make what appears to be a nicely finished product, good on him for producing a bike specific mount

If it gets you mounting your GoPro where you want it then I'd say it's a great deal!

  6. Do you do discounts on the mounts for forum members? [emoji12]

  7. Haha. Yeah it did read like that didn't it.

I do sell the exact same product for £60 though.

  8. Wouldn't the mount be better/more resistant to vibration with some sort of support towards the front?

Looks as though it might be a bit wobbly with the camera mounted?

    I might be completely wrong!

  9. The eBay link has a video link to it in use. Looks absolutely fantastic!

  10. I have given up mounting the Gopros to the bikes now. When i had the BMW K100RS it was great (), but now that I have the ST2 and the 848 there is far too much vibration to be bike mounted. Use a chest, shoulder or helmet mount to eliminate the vibrations.
If I mounted on the tank, then all your would see in the centre of the video would be the inside of the dark screen on either bike!

  11. I used one of the flat adhesive mounts on the top yoke nut and it works just fine. It's a bit close and I don't think you'd want it for the road because of how clearly it shows your dash but it's good on track!

I put one on the rear mud guard as well and it actually worked surprisingly well to be honest. There's obviously some vibration but less than I expected...

  12. The main reason the video looks so good is because he's used a gyroscopic mount, I'm seriously considering one for my track bike as they can be picked up pretty cheaply these days. If anything that video is slightly off to the left and needs to be better centred.

Don't get me wrong, cool mount and nice footage, I was just being a tight wad and thinking £30 was expensive. I have no idea why though really, I just paid £30 for an exhaust hanger for my track bike which looks like something I could have made with a metal sheet and a hacksaw!

  13. Surprisingly it was no problem it all. The only place it gets proper suction is just to the side of the petrol cap and you'd think it got in the way but it was fine. I'm quite particular to not having things in the way on the tank as well, and never even tried it there before now because of this. I wouldn't want it there all the time but it was no problem.
