999 Marchesini Wheel On Ebay

  1. That is way too much for a standard 999 rear wheel. Not really a bargain if you ask me. I sold a standard front and rear together for 400quid not long ago and it took ages to sell as people just don't want the standard ones.

  2. Ok - thanks, just trying to help (certainly no expert)

  3. Buying from the US may also provide you with a shock in the form of import duty,i bought some small items last year and as well as taking quite a few weeks to arrive I also had to pay £28 import tax, the goods I bought only cost $80!...

  4. Wow with the postage that sounds a bit pricey to me.
    Faz.

  5. I had a similar experience - the import duty was almost 50% of the value of the goods.

  6. I've bought from this guy before, he's spot on and very helpful.

He discounted my item and "helped" with the import duty

  7. I have bought lots of stuff from the USA and the trick is to get the seller to mark the parcel 'Used bike parts value $xx' with that HMRC will make a better judgement to the tax value. (What the 'xx' is, is up to you and the seller!!)

    atb :)

  8. I am after a standard spare set of wheels for my wet tyres for my track bike if anyone knows of any for sale

  9. @gazza20 I have a set of 999S 2006 original wheels with all rotors if you are interested. Shipping will be expensive though.
