Ok, let me just clarify from my original post I simply asked if you were black or thought you were, please read the post where I state I did not see the colour of your hands. that is a question not a racist remark. .Racism is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior. is my question any of the above, not in my mind but you are entitled to a different view. I thought you were white actually hence the plastic gangster comment, i.e. I thought you were trying to be something your not, shit there I go being racist again. I called you a twat because of the speed you were riding in built up area's and the consequences it could cause, would you tell us how fast you were going at times ? let me assume by the performance of the bike, rev's of the engine, the video, and personal experience 70-80 mph in a what 30-40 mph zone irrespective of fault if someone stepped out in front of you at that speed you are not likely to be able to avoid them and are likely to kill them and your self, now there are people who may deserve it but chances are it won't be one of them, especially a child, think of your family if you lost your life. you assume to know a great deal about me from your posts, purely assumptions, my comments are based on the facts you present in your video. I have purposelessly excluded any abuse, name calling etc as has been stated this is a bike forum and not the place, I like it here and the forum has provided me with very useful information.
This is a great forum (the best bike forum I've experienced) and I for one could do without this negativity. Wrong things may have been said, and things have gotten a bit heated. At the end of the day though, we're here because we all have a common interest and want to talk about bikes. So, pretty please, with sprinkles on the top, can we now draw a line under this and move on.
They were originally an aircraft manufacturer though and they only began producing bikes in 1923 after they were banned from aircraft production under the terms of the Treaty of Versailles. :Cigar: The DNA is clear. I've always maintained that the 1200GS is a two-wheeled Messerschmitt. Same shape, same sound and the bloody things are everywhere. They are quite good though...
I'm well aware of the BMW story. I worked for them for 10yrs and owned 6 before jumping ship to ducati!!
