  6. I've been out on the Scrambler since 10.15 this morning with my mate Phil, and got home at 4pm :)

Some roads around Selby were still underwater and were closed. Fields had been turned into lakes and trees that must have been 15-20' tall were just peeping out from the water. It's not good around there :(

Squires was pretty busy though :)

  7. Weather last night was mental. Still strong winds but should be dying down soon. Brackets on the guttering had broken on a lower roof, so got the ladder out to take the gutter off, it was flapping around. I reckon i'd have taken flight if I'd the ladder at the right angle.
Reading the news I think Scotland also got a battering.

  8. Jut spent 90 mins on the garage roof - nailing 6m long strips of felt back down. The ladder blew off the roof that I was using to stop some felt blowing away - it's a bit wild out there, luckily no rain here yet though. Tadcaster just down the road from me is missing it's Bridge...

  9. Today, I just worked out that the title of the film, Ginger Snaps, is a play on words.

Amazing what pops into your mind at times.

  10. Spent 5 mins in the garage putting a xmas present on the wall (Ducati Corse sign)

Now lying on the settee watching TV after discovering the joys of Fast 'N Loud for the 1st time over xmas. :)

  11. I think I can see a small dust ball under the bench. Sort it out, your letting yourself down a bit.

  12. Skirting board...in the garage! It is how imagine my garage might look but falls (well) short. I do like the Corse sign.

  13. Bloody hell, I'll have to get up off the settee and go and do some dusting now !

Why did you have to tell me. Sometimes no knowledge is better than a little knowledge you know :)

  14. I love the yellow colour Scrambler. I might have to take a look at one of these, they seem like a bit of a bargain in these days of the £20k superbike. :upyeah:

  16. Got up pretty early to take my pride, joy and latest love for my first extended ride about 45 mins north of the Fleshpots of Amsterdam.I obviously must have listened to the previous owner as I managed to start it 2nd kick from cold! Hot however is an entirely diff story and procedure?Nearly managed to run her out of fuel but spluttered and coasted into a busy forecourt.I was approached by an English guy who asked me if I would consider selling and told him politely no as I had only just got her - he gave me his business card and mobile and went on his way.I stopped a few miles down the road for a coffee and a pastry and same thing happened with a German guy but he was pushy, rude and thought he was going to bully me? Kept saying "name your price - how much today?" And so on! After about 10 minutes I lost my cool and told him to do one!!! He got the message
