  1. Had another bimble over to Marlborough today, met my mate then had a big breakfast and a nice bimble back.

  2. Gap before the (next) storm - up at Loch Lubhair near Crianlarich this afternoon. Will probably need the canoe for the rest of the week...

  3. Out again today and also booked a test ride on the KTM 1290 adventurer so a great day riding for fun :upyeah:

  4. Out over to Essex for a blast this lunchtime. Mostly raining just enough to keep the roads greasy. Still, riding is riding.

  5. I was out for almost Six hours today. Squires wasn't exactly packed but it was a good two thirds full :upyeah:

  6. I would mention the condensation when you go in for the 600 mile service, it should not be happening as far as I am aware.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  7. Had a good ride out yesterday , up to Lacock, Chippenham , Calne all in my new alpine stars bogota gear that Santa gave me. :grinning:

  8. Was going to try to get out for the 1st time in a couple of months for a couple of hours today as the forecast looked dry. They the heavens opened up. Sitting looking out of the window at the rain like a sad puppy now. :(

  9. Had a ride up to Devils Bridge last Sunday, Had to negotiate a few floods on the back roads through Gatebeck but bike didn't falter. I was surprised how many roads were closed and how much crap had been washed onto the roads. There's nothing more satisfying powering out of a bend only to see a branch laying in the road and managing to miss it.
Wasent many there to be honest but I didn't mind got nice fast service at the buttie van.

  11. My winter bike arrived today. Such a laugh and only 40hp. image.jpeg

  12. I had one of those.... Great bike.

  13. Which way did you come from? Swindon way? I'm in hungerford and it never really got to a point where I fancied going out! But I have been riding quite a bit recently so not so bothered.

  14. I come over from Bristol and meet a friend of mine who lives in Maidenhead , it's about the same distance for both of us. If the weather is better we then go for a ride somewhere but yesterday the roads were just too greasy and very busy.

  16. I'm still out for the odd run, mostly local and usually if it's dry ish!

Having been on sports bikes the last 20 years the multi is a new lease of biking life as I'm not too bothered being out if it's damp, wet, greasy, dirty!

I do need to get some winter boots though, feet got soaked a couple weeks back I've only got summer sports boots!!

  17. My wife laughed when we were out on the multi in the rain and I started changing the words to songs to describe how wet my feet were. Think Intro lyrics to the Thompson Twins - Hold Me Now... But replaced with, "I have a wet sock... Inside my boot".

  18. Dry today for me.... On the supermoto... Need to do something about the seat though... Hard as nails...

  19. 15mls for me on GSXR. Decided it's a rubbish road bike after a season on the 996. Think it should still be fun on the track though.

  20. Forty miles a day, work and back home, for me. This may end though when the salt is put down on the roads.
