Took the toy out for its first ever ride today. Feck me it's good. Pop from the Akras is a blast and that's achievable even whilst capped at 6k rpm. Rode a blend of A,B and motorway to see how it performs and was laughing in the bash hat all the way. 6 miles when it got delivered, 74 by the end of the afternoon. Took mine out today, and managed to open it up a little. Millage is only 700 so still not thrashing it. Felt really good, with so much more bottom end grunt than my 1199. Need to get some Akro's on it, as I miss the bang on gear change. [Need 2 1/2K to buy them !!! ] Blipper is strange to use ??? Tilt indicator is amusing. Just need to be able to play with the display a bit more.
I found it by mistake. My bike was leaning 10 degrees on the side stand. Then I switched the display to how I like it. It needs to be in race mode, and I think when taking lap data the lean angle will be displayed instead of the MPH Need to have another play tomorrow .. Maybe not to best thing to be looking at whilst getting ya knee down !!!
