As I prefer Yellow Ducatis :Shamefullyembarrased: @Ducbird , I've spent 2 mins Photshopping the Des and think I'd love a yellow one. I'm not sure about a Kawasaki version though. :Jawdrop:
Some makes and models of Riceburners seem to lend themselves to "Arab" customising and bizarre paint jobs but although I'm a newbie to Ducati's - please LEAVE THEM ALONE! Ducati seem to get it right most of the time so why tamper???
In the States the "custom bike scene" has become so flooded with Choppers of every design known to man that they have started on every other stock motorcycle they can get.I have owned several Hayabusas ( ok - I know your thoughts!) but it's getting that you never see a nice early Busa in standard original trim! Every single one seems to be either fitted with a massive Turbo,Nitrous and the almost obligatory stretched swinging arm! God knows what that does to the handling cos compared to a Ducati they handle like a motor home on snot and that's in standard trim!!!
Get ureself over to the States! They are proper on the floor over there and bikes are so so cheap!!! Problem is the usual shipping costs and HMRC taking the piss totally on duty
That reminds me of the strawberry and banana fruit chews I used to buy by the bagful on pocket money day when I was a kid.
Needs an extended swinging arm and acid trip paint job! Only joking - Holeshot are the boyz - what BHP is she currently?
I've posted this before, but I do have a slight hankering to build a custom Busa, but it'll be more along these lines. I love this bike. I just need a cheap donor bike to spark the project.
It has a Harris extended arm, but a little more sensible than the yank ones. Mine held the British Land Speed record from 2001 for circa 12 years, currently 440BHP but ran 400 for the record.
Great!!! What I like about it is it doesn't look or sit much different than a factory Busa at a quick glance? What you fancy swapping for?Villa,Flat,my girlfriend (half my age),anything apart from my Vincent!
