I got early and did a bit of work before going to the office at 8.30 for an hour, primarily to find a box big enough to send out a couple of carbon fibre bits I had that I'd sold yesterday on eBay Since then I have managed to commandeer the big sofa and have a kip whilst catching up on some of the TV we've recorded over the past few days. This evening we are going next door for a meal and drinks. I'm not sure whether I will last till midnight
went home early this morning after 'a night out'. Hard frost and I just had to try and open the drivers window didn't I?? mechanism broken and looks complicated @finm please help!! (Seat Arosa/VW Lupo)
Up at 6am to be at work for 8 Lovely frost to wake up too Dead as a dodo till 10.30 ish Just finished for the day
Been to the Super Sausage on the FZR with a mate on his ZXR. 'G' platers out for a shade of nostalgia. Hard to believe both bikes are nearly 26 years old.
Making you work New Years Day is cruel. I'd report it to Court of Human Rights. I did the Edinburgh Triathlon once, it's on New Years Day. Mistake. Did it as a team, I did the run stage. I literally just got over the finish line and threw up. It wasn't pretty.
My New Year Resolution is to lose weight, so today I phoned the local gym and asked if they could teach me how to do the splits. He said, "How flexible are you?" I said, "I can't make Tuesdays."
Up earlyish for a 20 mile spin on the pushbike. Got home as it started to rain. Fiddled around doing housewifey stuff in the afternoon (reading paper, drinking coffee). Now considering whether to change my 600Diversion to a FZ8 ( bit more grunt for touring). there is still the odd new one around to be had.
Fell off the wagon spectacularly last night - happens every New Years Eve.Not looking forward to standing up in front of my fellow "members" and explaining why and how.I could of course tell porkies like most of the others will and do every meeting but defeats the object and who would I be fooling? I feel guilty as hell but it was fun to be like Ollie Reed for one day of the year! Ho Hum
Yesterday was a nice easy day thankfully. However we were invited to #1 son's house for a meal yesterday evening, which was nice. Youngest Grandson (almost 2yo) was all over me all evening and when we left at 9pm wanted to go to "Yanma and Yandad's 'ouse". Too cute
If you mean what I think you mean then best of luck to you. Seen it/am seeing it first hand although never been there myself.
Went to panto at Weymouth last night. Have not laughed so much in ages. Even with no kids it would be worth going.
