Hi From Cardiff & Kendal

  1. Hi everyone thanks for the addition to your group.

    I spend time in Cardiff and in Kendal. I have owned a 1994 916 SP for about 13 years which has just got back on the road. You can't imagine the joy.
    I am currently looking for an additional bike and seek a 1098 R.
    Finance sorted at the lower end, just seeking a nice one. If anyone has one and wants to talk to me feel free to PM me. :grin::grin:

    Also looking for a few people that want to have a few rideouts and set car alarms off with Termis in Cumbria or South Wales.
    I have waterproofs.

  6. I thought 916SP's first model year was 1994? It may have been manufactured at the end of 94 of course for the 1995 model year run.

    Like your self I have just joined, I like the sound of thunder (Pink Floyd) but Termis do it for me.
    888 sp4 make a good noise but need slightly warmer road surface to chance this on.

  9. Super! I am in Cumbria this week. Going to ride over to Yorkshire to see a 1098R so if you (or anyone) fancies a ride over to Yorkshire whatever the weather on Tuesday I would be happy to meet up.

  13. Yes, but it rained everyday... I took the 916SP out and it was running just fine... very happy to be back on the Ducati.I went over to Yorkshire and nearly bought a lemon of a 1098R a close miss... I am still looking for a nice one...
