for the sort of stuff he's riding there, I'm sure you'd be miles better off on an MX bike or an enduro style bike rather than that massive heavy thing.
yea its all good till ya drop it in the middle of no where, absolutely knackered from ridding like a loon and cant pick it up..
was very close to leaving a mates rm250 about 10 miles into woodhill forest in Auckland.. id come off a good few times and every time i came off i got even more exhausted and would crash again not to far down the trail. sand tracks (very hard to ride slowly and hard to ride when fucked!) 35 degres in full mx clobber.. puked in my lid an everything!! nearly walked out...
Well it is a Kiwi and filmed not too far from me (120 - 150 miles), but no way am I good or fit enough to do that on that machine, I've got a Kawasaki KLX300R for that.
Good share, my eldest bro is going for 4-5 weeks motor-biking holiday around NZ this month into next. Never been & probably never will as i enjoy europe too much.
He makes the bike look like a 300. Quite an advert for the off-road abilities of the KTM. If you're good enough... Good advert for New Zealand as well. I assumed it was NZ until NZDave confirmed, and not Oz, becuse the soil isn't red..
