Went for a ride with Matt46 and TobyTyke. Rode to Squires, had coffee, chatted. Then TobyTyke to showed us some good roads around Doncaster, Barnsley etc. That was fun. Then came home and cleaned the bike and that's when I noticed that two bolts must have shook loose from the heat guard.
Just had a pint with a woman who went on Nick Sanders' round the world challenge about ten years ago. Fascinating.
Got sidelined whilst making the savers... :biggrin: Made some Ti oil cooler brackets for my bike to replace the stainless conversion kit I fitted a few months back? Should have taken a photo of the spread Nicky put on today! We had 8 for lunch, Roast Pork, Roast leg of Lamb, Roast Potato's, Yorkshire puddings, cabbage, sprouts,cauliflower, carrots,creamed leeks, stuffing, gravy and cheese sauce. Followed by either Apple crumble or lemon tart, with cream, custard or ice cream! This was just 4 hours after a full English breakfast! So today I've done nothing but eat, and wash up!
Pmsl hunter gatherer or what! I got up then fell asleep .. Got grumpy as fog went and couldn't go out in bike really. Had grand plan of ebaying everything in order to downsize and sort my life out! Ended up doing chores and watching a crap film I will get ten auctions done tonight! Also got she'd loads to parcel up Better not fall asleep
Just about to put mine in the oven! Had a quick blap round on the SS... :biggrin: What a beautiful sound! Had a random oil leak from the engine oil pipe union area? Tightened everything, still moist? Thought it might be the cambelt driveshaft seal leaking I replaced a month or two ago? Decided to remove the belt covers and have a ride round, see what was leaking? Leak has now stopped. Does look good without the covers tho, all whirry bits, kinda Steampunk lol! :biggrin: Bike is running 10deg cooler too, presumably due to having more air around the cylinders? Has anybody actually broke a belt due to stone/road debris/treefrog ingress running them coverless, or is it another headshaking tutting Urban Legend??
Had a drive over to the coast with both my German Sheps this afternoon. Plenty of running around, jumping in the sea and chasing the Gulls. The dogs had a good time too :biggrin:
