848 Jt Sprockets?

  1. The first mod I'm planning for my 2014 848 Evo is a 14T front sprocket.

The only one I can see for the OEM 525 pitch on eBay is from a seller called Ducatimondo who does JT sprockets.

    Anyone on here use them?
    Decent enough quality?

  2. JT are ok. Renthal do a sprocket also. IMO I'd go Renthal

  4. Ah. Used Renthal's website to get the code (433-525-14) and found them on eBay.

May as well go for a Renthal for the sake of a fiver difference!

    Thanks for the replies!

  5. I bought mine from a German seller on ebay. Could not tell you what make it is nor do I care - never heard of a front sprocket failure with any make.

  6. I had an afam sprocket and chain set on my 749 a few years ago, had it fitted and did maybe 500 miles and noticed a whole tooth missing on the front sprocket( had sheared off) I contacted them and they told me they've made millions of these without issue and I happened to be the one that got the failed one in a million.

  7. The sprockets are okay for Chinese stuff

    The chains however are sh*te.

I've had a few dealings with their customer services as well which hasn't been good. Especially the Irish chap who seemed very arrogant and a bit of a rude tw*t to be honest.

  8. My JT chain has out lasted it's DID predecessor by a looooooooooooooooooooong way.

  9. Im using JT front/rear Sprocket, and sprocket carrier in my Hyper 796. No problems at all!

  10. image.jpeg I have had the JT 14t sprocket for about a week. it is what my local dealer sells and it seems to be just fine. the sprocket really transforms the bike; enhances low speed drivability and makes it rev quicker/pull harder. I've only had my 2010 Dark for about a month and doing the sprocket change made my old 999 a distant memory.
