  1. in northern ireland (norn iron) when we mot a vehicle we receive an mot disk thats to be displayed, just like a tax diskonly different. so two questions...

1 do yous have the same set up in engerland, scuterland, and welsh land?????

2 where do you place your mot disk??????????????

  2. 1. No. It's all done in a computer database nowadays.
    2. Nowhere.

  3. We don't hang on to bikes older than three years old. We export them all to Ireland :upyeah:

  4. we take all your shizzle coz we doesnt have an mot

  5. Sorry for thread hijack, but is MOT based.

i guess a regular question, with the "depends on examiner" likely answer, but what sort of ratio of duc riders get through MOT with straight through termis on? I get a bit fed up with swapping pipes and ecu every year for MOT time.

what sort of experiences have been had with termis at MOT time?

    cheers,

    Pete

  9. is my middle name - how'd you guess?

  10. well we dont have mot discs that we compulsary have to put on , but if we did i wouldnt even bother putting it on hell i dont even display them gay old tax discs either , they look god awful , i know if a bobby wanted to be a little jobsworth bitch , he could do somethin bout it , but i know my vehicles taxed , so my minds at rest with that

  11. no was wonderin cos im on the wirral , and im a blue nose aswell like . also i thought i may have seen your bike go past us the other week

  12. Used to work over by RAF Sealand, so possibly en route to/from work, but always lived 'this' side of the river.

  13. ahh ok no worries , i work on the deeside ind estate , i assume you know it ? , its good to see the blues doin alright tho in it eh , i went the wigan game on satday like away , the ref was a tosser !!

  14. Know the estate well. Blues are doing very well, but I am too long in the tooth to get prematurely excited - I have watched kopites with the pre-season "it's our turn" ritual too many times only to satisfy the southerners of manu(re) by Christmas, to know when to keep the powder dry.

come Christmas, when our squad has injuries and suspensions, and the depth is tested, then I will start to think "maybe", if we are still in the top five.

a seriously demented sugar daddy is what is needed, but our debt issues are seemingly too much for even Qatari royals (if old rumours have any substance). So we can just be pragmatic and hopeful. Maybe I am too miserable???

  15. do you ever get up the ponderosa much ?

  16. You've got it ok. You wanna support a real shit team like I do.

Actually they are a brilliant for 80 mins EVERY game. And if a game of football lasted just 80 minutes we'd be Champions of Europe every season - you can forget Barcelona or Real Madrid even getting a look in.

However the game is 90 mins plus stoppage time. And we can't hang on for that extra 10-14 mins. Ever! Which is why we are where we are.

And who is this hopeless team that can't hang on for a win? Middlesbrough.

ps Don't believe me? Check to see how many games over the past 20 seasons they've conceded in the last few minutes to either end up drawing a game or getting beat. It is absolutely staggering. I kid you not

  17. Yes, but no matter how bad they are, you stick with them, unlike the glory boys who follow manure, chelski, et al. I recall the hoodoo you had over Liverpool for a few seasons, round when the 'white feather' was playing

ponderosa - not yet been there, too busy most weekends with either the kids, the kids rugby, my rugby, work, fixing something on the house (was shed this weekend, gutters last weekend, roof felt and pointing a few weeks prior...). Plus weather been so bad, hardly got chance between the usual stuff.

saw your other thread - jealous of the pani you are picking up, they look very tidy. Make sure you have plenty of physical security and maybe a big dog. I tend to store my bike in a few different relatives garages to stop anybody casing it (burgled last year, Audi was nicked, and keys for duc - cost a packet for a whole new lock set and alarm fob cancellation and replacement - price I pay for living next to two dogs).

  18. sorry to hear that robbery goin on , im on the wirral like so its not to bad for robberies etc , ive a staff bull terrier tho , so if any one wants to mess with him then good luck to em , also if i catch anyone tryin to rob my bike , they will either be battered within an inch of there lives , or instead i'll rip there dick or balls off !! , aside that tho mate , you really wanna try and get the ponderosa , even if it means droppin one of your other chors because i kid you not the roads round there im sure in fact i know they where made just for ducati , i mean it !!

  19. Are you talking about the Ponderosa near Wrexham/Llangollen way?

  20. If so the roads are fantastic and made for a Ducati
