  1. Ducati or Power commander ?

  2. Hi Rusty. Thanks for your words of support. The garage in Germany is RS Haslauer RS-Haslauer :: Motorrad-Racing-Anlagen für Pfaffenhofen, Ingolstadt, München In total for actually making the bike worse that how it arrived with them, they charged me 80 euros and my insurer a further 597 euros, 294 of which was a bill for storage! If you ever do make it to Europe I suggest you avoid them like the plague. My insurer did what they could and paid the majority of the 597 euros. The policy they provide is for the bike to be repaired or for us to be provided with an alternative way of getting home to the UK. They can't vouch for the quality of service that the garage provides, and I guess we were unlucky.

There are good guys out there though....I lost a fairing fastener on a tour of Tuscany a few years ago on the ST. Wasn't a major issue but I saw a Ducati dealership in a town we were passing through, so just stopped and called in to see if they had one in stock. I don't speak Italian and the guy in the dealership didn't speak English but I pointed to the missing fastener, and within a few minutes he'd fitted a new one and didn't ask for anything.

  3. I don't understand what is Power Commander? I have a ST2, if you're asking. ?

  4. The thing that ruined his trip wasn't the dealer, but his Ducati breaking down, or more exactly, his power commander that went wrong. Yes the service shop were useless, but didn't ruin his trip. :)
