Hi, Just joined, the thread says it all, I have in my garage a 2008 848 with about 3500 miles, its in pristine condition.......apart from a scratch on the tank from my zip. Full Termi system and ECU as well, Carbon hugger and foot guards. So it did 100 miles last year, I also ride a BMW R1200GS Adventure. I think I spent more time looking at it or cleaning it. So I sold it to my son, it will be his second bike after a 'nasty' KTM 200cc 2 stroke which I understand was almost unrideable on the road. He gets two paddock stands, a serviced and belt changed bike with new tyres for £5k. That's with 0% dad's finance of course. I don't think I am being greedy. Dwain

That's the one I advised my mate against, looks like it's been tracked and a lot of the sticker positions are way out from standard.
Surely having it on a track can't be a bad thing, its what they are built for...Sticker positions however :grimacing:. Kudos for spotting that :thumbsup:
My meaning was towards its possible previous life with a lot of the stickers being out of place - shouts alarm bells to me, so does the potential low mileage not being correct - it could have been a track toy and now it is purporting to be a low mileage collectable. To any potential buyer I'm sure it would be worth knowing and reflect in it's value :smileys::Angelic:
